Maaike Goedkoop

I work as a project manager for the MainWood Joint Initiativecall_made. This scientific consortium is based at ETH Zurich University in Switzerland in partnership with EPFL, WSL and Empa. MainWood concentrates on the assessment and implementation of wood-based bio-economies in Switzerland and abroad, encompassing aspects from sustainable forest management and climate change impacts, to wood innovation and construction.

My goal is to continue expanding and promoting local and global networks that pursue informed and sustainable change. For example, in my free time I am the Secretay General for the OurWorldHeritage Foundationcall_made, an online platform that gives a voice to local communities that aim to protect and promote their cultural heritage and traditional lifelyhoods for future generations.
